Ozempic (semaglutide) solution for injection in pre-filled pen – type 2 diabetes treatment

Pharmacology: GLP-1 receptor agonist. Glucose-dependent stimulation of insulin secretion and suppression of glucagon secretion.

Licensed indication: Insufficiently controlled T2DM in adults, as an adjunct to diet and exercise: as monotherapy where metformin is not tolerated or contraindicated, or in addition to other medicinal products for diabetes. Not licensed for weight management.

Before first use, store in a refrigerator (2–8 °C), away from the cooling element. Do not freeze. After first use, store below 30°C or in a refrigerator for 6 weeks. Keep the pen cap on to protect from light.
