Founded in Guernsey by practising clinician Dr John Curran, Healthxchange begins as a pharmacy supplying aesthetic medical products to clinics. It is built on a simple belief: clinicians need more than products, they need a partner that understands clinical practice.
First mainland UK pharmacy opens:
Healthxchange opens its first mainland UK pharmacy in central London, close to Harley Street, bringing its clinical service closer to practitioners across the UK.
Exclusive Obagi Medical partnership begins:
Healthxchange brings Obagi Medical to the UK and Ireland, beginning one of its most significant and long-standing brand partnerships.
The injectables portfolio begins:
Healthxchange is appointed Allergan Aesthetics' exclusive UK agent, bringing leading injectable products to clinics across the country.
Manchester pharmacy and training facilities open:
A new pharmacy opens beside Manchester Airport, alongside dedicated facilities for practical, in-person clinician training.
Healthxchange expands into Ireland and online ordering:
A wholesaler opens in Dublin, establishing Healthxchange in Ireland. The ePharmacy also launches, making it easier for clinics to order online.
Clever Clinic launches:
Healthxchange launches Clever Clinic, its proprietary practice management platform, bringing patient records, consultations, consent, scheduling and clinic administration together in one place. A new pharmacy also opens in Reading.
Healthxchange Academy launches online:
Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Healthxchange Academy enables clinicians to continue their education through live webinars, on-demand content and CPD-approved learning opportunities.
The Obagi Medical partnership is extended:
A new long-term agreement extends Healthxchange's partnership with Obagi Medical to 2030, building on more than a decade of shared growth.
Clever Patients launches:
Healthxchange launches Clever Patients, its proprietary white-label ecommerce platform, helping clinics create their own online storefronts and offer direct product delivery to patients. A new distribution centre also opens in Reading.
Epicutis joins the portfolio:
