Reporting to: Senior Pharmacy Manager

About the role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dispensing & Dispatch Assistant to join our Pharmacy team. As a Dispensing & Dispatch Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of aesthetic & pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate should be organized, have a strong attention to detail, and be capable of working in a compliant process driven environment.

Requirements (essential)

• Previous experience in a pharmacy or warehouse, or similar role is preferred.

• Familiarity with inventory management systems.

• Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy loads

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Teamwork and collaboration skills.

• Adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Secondary school examinations or equivalent.

Desirable requirements:

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and storage requirements is an asset

• NVQ 2 Qualified

Familiarity with Human Medicines Regulations 2012 and EU GDP Guidelines (2013/C 343/01)

Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming product shipments.

• Ensure all items match the accompanying documentation.

• Report any discrepancies or damages to the relevant internal stakeholders

• Safely and securely store pharmaceutical products in designated areas.

• Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems.

• Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation of stock.

• Accurately pick and pack orders for delivery to various locations.

• Prepare pharmaceutical products for shipment in compliance with regulations.

• Conduct regular quality checks on stored and shipped products.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain product integrity.

• Adhere to all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

• Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.

• Work closely with other team members to coordinate workflow.

Communicate effectively with pharmacists, delivery personnel and other relevant stakeholders.
